Location: 5420 Hwy 6, Guelph (north of Woodlawn Rd)
Hike description:Come out for a morning of tricks and treats as we hike along the trail. We will mostly follow the trail around the perimeter including through the forests, by the meadows and gardens. The trail varies with sections of dirt with rocks and roots and grassy lanes. From a broad path to narrow footpaths through open fields, upland forests and cedar swamps. Feel free to dress up as your favourite spooky character or stay fitted as a hiker to enjoy the crunch of leaves beneath your steps, the changing of colours, and the smell of autumn in the air.
Pace: 4 km/hr – approximately 6.3 km, 2 hr
Parking: 5420 Hwy 6, Guelph (north of Woodlawn Rd) – enter and drive through along the laneway – use the second lot
Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather, I.D
Recommended: water, snack, sunscreen, bug spray
No dogs please.
